Susan Sarandon’s Cats Make Acting Debut in ‘Fabulous Four’

Susan Sarandon and Sheryl Lee Ralph are teaming up with Bette Midler and Megan Mullally in “The Fabulous Four."

“Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi spoke with Susan and Sheryl, who dished on making the comedy, which brings some "Bridesmaids" meets "The Hangover" energy.

Susan gushed, "You know why so many people fall in love on movies? Because when you get somebody that comes prepared to do what they have to do, it is the best, and that's what we had with this movie."

The ladies also revealed the most fun part about filming!

Sheryl shared, “The food in Savannah. The food in Savannah was fun."

Susan added, “Not only a lot of fun happening, but a lot of respect too.”

Sheryl said she didn't relate to her weed-growing granny character, noting, "My character was so different from anything that is there in my life." She laughed, "I am not a botanist. I don't delve into developing different strains of cannabis."

Sarandon borrowed from real life though by featuring two of her three cats in the movie!

She joked, “I wanted to give them a shot, that’s why I did the movie.”

Sheryl quipped, “Nepotism! Nepotism!"

“The Fabulous Four” is in theaters July 26.
