    Jermaine Eluemunor, meet Dexter Lawrence.

That is what happened on the field early in Wednesday’s first Giants training camp practice, and it did not go well for the veteran offensive lineman.

“It’s a big-man hit,’’ Eluemunor said Thursday. “It’s like you get hit by a truck.’’

After initial fear that this was a serious injury — Eluemunor walked off the field holding his right side — two words served as relief for the Giants as coach Brian Daboll provided an update on Eluemunor’s health.

    “Nothing serious,” Daboll said.

Just like that, the Giants could breathe easier.

Eluemunor has what he described as “some really bad bruising’’ to his ribs.

He was able to participate on Day 2 of camp in individual drills and the 29-year old believes he will not miss too much more.

“I was trying to cut off, and Dex thought he was being trapped so he obviously lowered his shoulder and it just so happened that he lowered his shoulder into my rib cage,’’ Eluemunor said. “So it wasn’t the most fun pain I’ve had to deal with.

“Not fun. Not fun at all. It’s not the most fun thing I’ve had to deal with.’’

Signed this offseason to a two-year contract worth $14 million , Eluemunor was the starting right tackle for the Raiders in 2023 and the eight-year veteran has position versatility.

With Evan Neal on the physically unable to perform list , still recovering from ankle surgery, Eluemunor is lining up as the starting right tackle after serving as the starting left guard all spring.

“I’m willing to do whatever I need to do for the team,’’ Eluemunor said. “I’m really happy to be here, so I told [Daboll] and [general manager] Joe [Schoen] when I came here, wherever they need me is where I am going to play.’’

With Eluemunor out of team drills Thursday, Josh Ezeudu was the starting right tackle.

Daniel Jones is moving well on his surgically repaired right ACL.

When one play broke down, Jones was flushed out of the pocket, angled to his right and took off.

One change this summer is a severe reduction in seven-on-seven drills, as Daboll wants to put his team through as much 11-on-11 team work as possible.

Daboll hopes this gets Jones more ready for the regular season.

“We’re going to do more 11-on-11 so you can feel the pocket,’’ Daboll said. “Move. It’s good to get him out there and feel some of the rush.’’

TE Lawrence Cager had his second touchdown catch in as many practices.

This time, he went down to haul in a fastball from Jones over the middle.

Another tight end, Daniel Bellinger, caught a scoring pass thrown by Tommy DeVito.
