It's day three of training camp, and fans of the Miami Dolphins continue to await news of an agreement on a contract extension between the team and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Surely his teammates are also waiting and hoping as well, even if they are taking a more diplomatic public approach about it.

Jalen Ramsey was asked on Wednesday about his prior Instagram post where he posted "Pay Tua" and what his thoughts are on the ongoing contract standoff.

“Man that’s his business, I don’t really want to get into another man’s business and his pockets," Ramsey said.  "He’s got to handle that however he sees fit, however him and his agent sees fit. Obviously, I love having Tua (Tagovailoa) as a teammate. I love having him as the leader of this team, the quarterback of this team. So selfishly for me and I feel like the team, we all want it to get done. Whether it’s going to bother him or not, I don’t think so. But it could clear his conscience a little bit more and secure some generational wealth for him and his family. So I hope he gets every penny that he’s wanting, and yeah, it is what it is.”

Ramsey's post is certainly a respectable take on the situation.  And he's right in that it would surely clear Tua's head and get a giant weight off his back .  That can only be a good thing for the Dolphins' offense and their chances at winning a playoff game for the first since 2000.

A number of Tua's current teammates have expressed a desire to see a deal done for Tua ASAP.  Though somewhat muted - at least compared to his prior take on Instagram - it seems like you can count Ramsey among their ranks as well.

We'll see if the standoff continues into when it's time to put jerseys on in game situations, when the pressure will surely ratchet up another degree.
