While in Southern California for the Las Vegas Raiders training camp, the team is prepping for what could be a huge season. They nearly made the playoffs a season ago even after the disaster that happened during the middle of the season.

In Costa Mesa, California for training camp is where the real work gets started. It's where the team starts their 2024 season, because now, every week, they will have football. The pads aren't on yet, and won't be till next week, but this is where the real work begins.

Well, this is where the work will begin for some of the players. The Raiders placed linebacker Darien Butler, guard Jake Johanning, guard Jackson Powers-Johnson , wide receiver Jalen Guyton, and tackle Kolton Miller on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

This is not a long-term thing, but, we can expect these guys to miss at least a few days of camp. However, this is an opportunity for other players to step up.

On Thursday before the second practice started, general manager Tom Telesco talked to some of the media about the roster moves he made, specifically adding two starters, Jackson Powers-Johnson, and Kolton Miller, to the injured lists.

According to Tashan Reed of The Athletic, Telesco said that the JPJ injury is a "short term" one and the Miller injury should only last a "few weeks."

This is tremendous news for the Raiders.
