OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) – Generosity was on the menu this evening at the Glessner Auditorium for the annual Kalkreuth Vendor Invitational Dinner.

And tonight was just an appetizer for this weekend’s Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Championship at Oglebay.

Over the years vendors have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Easterseals.

That money represents a huge chunk of Easterseals’ funding, which allows them to provide healthcare for about 2,500 children annually.

Easterseals never turns away patients for an inability to pay.

“We’re so fortunate to have Kalkreuth as a community partner. We couldn’t do a lot of the things that we do without them…over the years at this event alone, we have raised over $320,000. That’s a lot of healthcare for a lot of children who need it.”

Eric Filberto, President and CEO of Easterseals

Tomorrow will be the Vendor Invitational Scramble, with the Golf Championship happening on Saturday and Sunday.

The speakers this evening were John Kalkreuth, Eric Filberto, and Tara Yager, the mother of Noxx Yager.
