Diving has long been a hallmark of the Olympics, and it'll be no different in Paris. Diving events will take place at the Olympics Aquatics Centre beginning on July 27.
The Chinese team were the big winners at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and have won 27 of a possible 32 Olympic gold medals since Beijing 2008. They swept the World Championships in Doha earlier this year and are favored to top the podium once again in Paris, including Wang Zongyuan in the men's 3m springboard.
The Americans earned three medals at the Tokyo Olympics, and Delaney Schnell and Jessica Parratto, who won silver in 2021, are back for the women's synchro 10m platform. Sarah Bacon and Alison Gibson will compete in the women's 3m springboard.
For the first time in 24 years, an American diver will compete in both springboard and platform after Carson Tyler qualified in both for his Olympic debut.
All eyes will also be on Great Britain's Tom Daley, who is competing in his fifth Olympics and will eye a fifth Olympic medal in the men's synchro 10m platform event with his new partner Noah Williams.

Diving will be broadcast on E! and NBC. Semis and Prelims at 4 a.m. ET can be watched on E! while the Finals coverage will air on either NBC or E!.
