Prior to the official release of Kagurabachi chapter 43 , online spoilers revealed that the fight with Kyora continues as the sorcerer loses his life in the upcoming installment. The previous chapter saw Chihiro voluntarily re-enter the storehouse to try and save the prisoners from Kyora’s vault.

Kagurabachi chapter 43 spoilers: Kyora’s willpower

The spoilers for Kagurabachi chapter 43, titled “Fulfil,” began with Chihiro believing he needed to touch each prisoner to transfer spirit energy into them so Hakuri could pull them out. Meanwhile, Shiba worried about Hakuri and Chihiro’s conditions as they had been fighting. Hakuri stated that the storehouse was only standing thanks to Kyora’s willpower. He explained that if Shinuchi took over, the storehouse would crumble with Chihiro and the prisoners inside.

Despite Kyora being temporarily in control, the death flowers continued to kill people. The Kamunabi sorcerers decided to retreat as Kyora was gradually losing his sanity. Meanwhile, Kyora remembered the words of his late wife. She told the sorcerer that he could end the Rakuzaichi auction and didn’t need it.

She told him if he had given it up, he would have been more human and a better man, but the auction seemed to have power over the Sazanami clan. However, he remembered his father, who had left him to carry on the tradition.

Shiba realized Kyora’s obsession with the auction ws holding Shinichi back. He called everyone crazy for believing in something like Kyora’s willpower. Suddenly, Kyora told the remaining audience to eliminate his enemies for money. However, the Kamunabi sorcerers chose to retreat instead.

Hiyuki quickly went to Hakuri’s side to protect him while he transferred the prisoners. Hakuri remembered the ice lady who had taken her life in front of him and promised never to lose anyone like that. He and Chihiro successfully rescued all the prisoners in the vault and transferred them outside the building.

Kagurabachi chapter 43 spoilers: Kyora loses the battle to Shinuchi

Following Chihiro and Hakuri’s successful rescue mission, the Sazanami head again remembered his wife’s words. However, he believed his mistake did not uphold the clan’s tradition. He regretted not believing in Hakuri like Chihiro Rokuhira had previously told him to.

Kyora admitted that Chihiro was right, and if he had believed in Hakuri from the beginning, none of this would have been happening. He realized he was the only member of the Sazanami clan who failed to carry out his duties by turning Hakuri away.

Meanwhile, Chihiro reappeared in the auction hall and saw Kyora’s current state. He watched as Shinuchi’s flowers grew on Kyora’s body. The chapter ended with Kyora Sazanami dying cruelly but retaining his pride and convictions.
