Bank of America awards $435,000 to Inland Empire nonprofits

On July 11, Bank of America announced the recipients of its first round of grants for the year. The organization awarded $435,000 to 22 local nonprofits across the Inland Empire, providing workforce development, health resources and other basic needs to individuals and families.

Coachella Valley recipients included the College of the Desert Foundation, DAP Health, FIND Food Bank,the Galilee Center, Martha's Village & Kitchen and One Future Coachella Valley.

Since 2019, Bank of America has provided $9.4 million to Inland Empire nonprofits, which is part of the bank's longstanding commitment to supporting economic opportunity for diverse communities. In addition, employee volunteerism continues to be an important and valuable contribution to local nonprofits with Inland Empire employees logging more than 82,000 volunteer hours since 2019.

"Investing in nonprofits helps provide the resources and support needed to help build thriving communities long-term."
