    News of public record: Tuscarawas County restaurant inspections

    The following are restaurant inspections with critical violations, as conducted by the Tuscarawas County Health Department from July 15-19.

    July 15

    Love Gas Car Wash Inc., 524 Cherry St., Tuscarawas. Missing and/or incomplete allergen declarations on the deli sandwiches packed in the facility.

    Lockport Brewing Co LLC, 10748 NE Wilkshire Blvd., Bolivar. Chicken and rolls stored uncovered. The piercing parts of the can opener or utensils are unclean. Two squeeze bottles in the walk-in cooler were not discarded after exceeding the time of the date marked.

    July 16

    McDonald's Restaurant #7950, 101 E. McCauley Drive, Uhrichsville. The cheese that uses time as a public health control is not date marked. There is a presence of live flies in the facility.

    Yoder's Hometown Market, 1020 N. Tuscarawas Ave., Dover. Salsa was cold-holding at 45 F and 49 F.

    July 17

    63 Corks, 9185 Ohio 250 NW, Strasburg. The piercing parts of the can opener are unclean.

    July 18

    Limby's Restaurant, 109 N. Wooster Ave., Dover. Observed an employee handling ready-to-eat foods such as hamburgers and sandwiches with bare hands. There is an improper use of single-use gloves. Observed an employee handling whole produce with single-use gloves after handling raw ground beef with those same gloves. The sliced ham and the pickled eggs that had been prepared on-site and held under refrigeration for more than 24 hours were not date marked.

    Speedway #3557, 1127 N. Tuscarawas Ave., Dover. The food-contact surfaces of the mocha dispenser and the big gulp sodas are unclean. Cheese, ham, pizza sauce, minced beef, and pepperoni are not being cold held at the proper temperature.

    July 19

    Taqueria El Exito, 101 N. Wooster Ave., Dover. The cooked rice had not been date marked. The cooked rice was stored in a plastic grocery bag.

    Magic Mugs Coffee, 237 W. Third St., Dover. An unlabeled spray bottle containing a sanitizing solution was stored on the food-prep table between uses.

    Bolivar Pizza, 225 N. Central Ave., Bolivar. The piercing part of the can opener or utensils are unclean.
