There is a “smart” version of everything these days, from smart kitchen appliances to smart watches — so we wouldn’t be your trusty shopping pal if we didn’t tell you about the latest intelligent device: the smart notebook. Specifically, the Rocketbook Fusion model, which six (!) of my friends currently own and can’t stop talking about. The Rocketbook is also a favorite of Kristen Aiken, HuffPost’s head of life, who uses it to write down her most interesting and imaginative dreams.

It boasts a special technology that allows you to scan and send your drawings, notes or grocery lists straight to your phone using the free Rocketbook app — all you have to do is use the included pen and microfiber towel. No more losing small pieces of paper!

Both versions of the smart notebook come in multiple other colors, including orange, red, white print and lavender.

And if you need a little more convincing to streamline your note-taking, consider these glowing Amazon reviews:

“This notebook is awesome!! I absolutely love it. I carry it in my handbag and write in it whenever or wherever I fell inspired. I absolutely love to draw and take notes. I like that it’s not heavy at all and it’s very sturdy. If you are a student or someone that takes a lot of notes, this is the notebook for you. You won’t regret it 🙂” — Michelle

“I looked at the Rocketbook for a while and recently decided to go for it. I am an office supply nerd. I have tons of notebooks I use for work and it creates a lot of waste. I would write my notes from a meeting and then type them into a document. Now I just scan them and send them to my Google Drive folder. If you’re considering getting one - DO IT! I’ll be ordering the note cards soon.” — Allison

“This is such a convenient way to keep track of my to-do’s, purchases, and ideas to pursue. Also, saves paper when solving puzzles. I can make a template with permanent marker for sudoku and other puzzles, and then use the frixion erasable pen to solve the puzzles. The cloth used for erasing works very well.” — Kuleana
