    New schools proposed by Bryan County Board of Education

    The Bryan County School District is gearing up to meet the demands of growth. The school district’s website details plans to invest more than $200 million on new schools. The plans show unique features that will help bolster education for two new high schools, as well as new athletic fields.

    Here are a few of the proposed projects.

    Project: Bryan County High School

    Cost: $65 million

    Opening Date: August 2028

    Features: The two-story school will feature a JROTC suite, multi-sport turf stadium with turf field and STEM & flex Labs.

    Project: Richmond Hill High School

    Cost: $97 million

    Opening Date: August 2025

    Features: The new school will feature an outdoor education classroom, healthcare science labs and a spring sports complex complete with baseball and softball fields and a lacrosse stadium.

    Project: Bryan County Middle School

    Cost: $35 million

    Opening Date: August 2030

    Project: North Bryan Elementary School

    Cost: $35 million

    Opening Date: August 2029

    Project: South Bryan Elementary School

    Cost: $40 million

    Bryan County Board of Education could not be reached for comment.
