Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston was recently interviewed by Complex Sports. During the interview, the 22-year-old WNBA star shared her honest opinion on her teammate, rookie Caitlin Clark.

"It's great playing beside her," Boston said about Clark. "I think the attention she gets and her ability to see the floor and make the right decision in crucial times are really important, so it's really great, and I feel like how I've helped her is just continuing to allow her to know that she's made for this league. She can dominate in this league and just continue to be her."

The young stars have turned into one of the best duos in the league, and the Fever forward credits the rookie's playmaking ability for their success.

Boston has been able to help boost Clark's offensive game, with the second-year star serving as the Fever guard's go-to option on offense. Throughout the Fever's 11-15 season , the 6-foot-5 forward has averaged 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

Meanwhile, Clark has averaged 17.1 points and leads the league in assists with 8.2 assists per game, showcasing her talent as one of the best facilitators in the WNBA. The rookie recently recorded the most assists in a single game in WNBA history, notching 19 assists in the 101-93 loss to the Dallas Wings on July 17.

Clark and Boston were also teammates at the 2024 WNBA All-Star game, representing the Fever's young core at the league's event on July 20. They both helped Team WNBA secure a 117-109 victory over Team USA. Boston finished the game with four points and two rebounds, while Clark punched in four points and 10 assists.

As Boston explained, it's great for her to be able to mentor Clark. She believes the rookie will be able to dominate the WNBA, and the two growing together could certainly help their progression.
