Unfortunately, when someone dies or gets hurt, that's when things seem to get done.

We have lazy deputies and they don’t patrol. We’ve been asking to have a sheriff deputy presence for 25 years in our development as children have to cross a main road as cars fly bystopped buses. If you want to help the pedestrian problem in Osceola County, engineer a crosswalk system that allows them to get across the roadway. Lights can be a mile in between each other. Where do you think these people will cross a road? We planned all the homes and all the development, but we never once thought about pedestrians, homeowners, roads and bridges, traffic demands, schools, natural resources or anything else. And we just keep doing it.
