    These establishments in Monroe County were inspected between July 15 and 21, according to Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture records .

    The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture provides this disclosure: "Please remember that any inspection is a 'snapshot' of the day and time of the inspection. An inspection conducted on any given day may not be representative of the overall, long-term cleanliness of an establishment. Also, at the time of the inspection, violations are recorded but are often corrected on site prior to the inspector leaving the establishment."

    Inspected July 18. Jurisdiction: East Stroudsburg Borough. Violations: 2

    Inspector observed a temperature measuring device for ensuring proper temperature of equipment was not available or readily accessible; and loose/damaged rubber door gaskets observed on the refrigeration unit in the rear area.

    Pocono Pizza & Wings: 137 N. 9th St., Stroudsburg

    Inspected July 19. Jurisdiction: Stroudsburg Borough. Violations: 3

    Inspector observed the handwash sink in the kitchen area was blocked and not accessible at all times for employee use, and a used apron and rags in the sink; the rear door to the outside was propped open for ventilation (corrected during inspection); and an empty paper towel dispenser at the handwash sink in the restroom and soap was not available at the handwash sink in the kitchen area or the restroom.

    Inspected July 19. Jurisdiction: Stroudsburg Borough. Violations: 3

    Inspector observed an in-use knife stored in an area not easily cleanable in the bain marie (corrected during inspection); a temperature measuring device for ensuring proper temperature of equipment was not available or readily accessible in walk-in cooler and other pieces of refrigeration equipment; and the paper towel dispenser at the handwash sink in the bar area was empty (corrected).
