Following Adam Copeland’s AEW debut at WrestleDream, the former WWE star would be asked during the post-show media scrum whether his wife, Beth Phoenix, would be joining him. Yet, while Copeland couldn’t confirm this, he would say, “I love being around her,” seemingly indicating he would be open to it. And it now appears there is a genuine possibility of this happening, as PWInsider.com has reported Phoenix is no longer contracted to WWE. 43-year-old Phoenix is nowadays best known for being Copeland’s wife, although she was a top WWE in-ring performer herself between 2006 and 2012.
