A much drier air mass has made its way into the state on Friday morning, giving way to a beautiful end to the workweek.

Highs will range into the 80s, and we can expect plenty of sun as we work our way through the weekend.

There are active wildfires to our far west in Canada that have sent some smoke to Quebec.

This smoke will likely combine with burning fires in North Quebec and creep its way into our state from the north late Friday.

This will bring the particle pollution levels to moderate for both Friday and Saturday. Take it easy if smoke bothers you or anyone you know.

It will be a great day for the beach or the lake. So if your Friday plans have you out on the water, look for no visibility restrictions. It will be breezy with northwest winds 10 to 15 knots.

This evening will be clear if you have dinner or outdoor plans, with calming winds.

Highs will be in the 80s with low humidity all weekend long. But humidity begins to build as we head toward early next week.

More clouds begin to move in Monday, with showers and thunderstorms reentering the forecast by Tuesday and Wednesday.
