Stephen Curry has beaten all odds to establish himself as one of the best players in the modern NBA. The 6'3" guard has a terrific resume that includes winning four NBA Championships. However, the Golden State Warriors superstar's resume is missing an Olympic gold medal.

Curry will soon play in the first Olympics of his basketball career. The 'Baby-Faced Assassin' is enjoying his time on the national team, as apparent from his seemingly never-ending smile since joining Team USA.

Besides Steph, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are also on the roster. The 36-year-old recently revealed about recreating Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson's iconic photograph from the 1992 Dream Team.

"Me, K, and LeBron took the picture that MJ, Larry Bird, and Magic took," Curry said in an interview with Andscape. "I can't wait to get that on my wall and get them to sign it. It's just an honor knowing what we've all done in our careers. The fact that we are the elder statesman with' Bron still playing at a high level."

Curry is happy to team up with LBJ

Steph and Bron have shared an iconic rivalry throughout their careers. While the two have faced off against each other in four NBA Finals, they have never had a chance to become teammates in a competitive environment.

The two-time NBA MVP shared his views on becoming teammates with James as they pursue a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"Obviously, me and LeBron have never been teammates in a competitive environment," Curry added. "And seeing how our games match, complement each other has been awesome so far."

With LeBron and Steph being in the final years of their respective careers, it's a treat for fans to watch them share the court together in Team USA jerseys.

Jordan had one condition to join the team

The 2024 Team USA is undoubtedly reminiscent of the iconic 1992 USA Dream Team. The star-studded roster featured many NBA legends, such as Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson.

However, if Team USA had not invited almost every superstar from the NBA during the 1990s, Jordan would have simply declined the invitation, the legendary team would have lost its biggest star, and the overall impact of the team would have been much lower.

Thankfully, Team USA didn't shy away from filling the roster with talented basketball players from the league. Coach Steve Kerr's 2024 USAB is also full of excellent players. Now, it's only a question of whether they can achieve the same result as the 1992 Dream Team.
