Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica Stoll were seen sporting matching watches worth a combined £207,480 ($268. k) , as they continue to present a united front. McIlroy, who has an estimated net worth of £200m, filed for divorce in May just before the PGA Championship, only to make a dramatic reversal less than two months later, withdrawing the petition.
He stated that both he and Stoll believed their future was better together. Following this, McIlroy competed in the US Open, where he suffered a devastating loss to Bryson DeChambeau in the final round. After taking a break from golf, he returned for the Scottish Open, with Stoll by his side.
Stoll accompanied McIlroy during his first round at the Renaissance Club, marking the couple's first public display of affection since the divorce drama. McIlroy finished tied-fourth before facing the challenging conditions at Royal Troon for the 152nd Open, reports the Mirror US .
Unfortunately, a fifth major wasn't in the cards, and McIlroy was cut, failing to make the weekend with a score of +11. The family quickly left Scotland, flying out of Prestwick Airport on Saturday morning and heading for Faro, Portugal. On Monday, pictures showed the couple were spotted together in Almancil on the Algarve.
McIlroy, who owns a house nearby, flaunted his toned physique as he took a dip in the sea . Stoll and McIlroy were also joined by their daughter, Poppy, who was spotted holding Stoll's hand in one of the snaps. The couple put on a united display as they work on mending their relationship.
In a further show of unity, the pair were photographed on Wednesday sporting matching Patek Philippe timepieces. McIlroy sported the World Time Chronograph, priced at about £113.3k ($146.5k), while Stoll flaunted her £94,000 ($121.5k) Nautilus Watch.

The coordinated watches are yet another move by the couple to demonstrate that they are solidly united, echoing McIlroy's commitment to a brighter future together. Addressing the withdrawal of their separation petition and confirming their reconciliation, McIlroy spoke to The Guardian: "There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumor is a fool's game.
"Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning."
McIlroy is set to compete again in Paris for the Olympics, opting to play for Ireland instead of Team GB. This will mark the 35 year old's second Olympic appearance following his participation in Tokyo.
