A GCU study claims this is the most popular Dairy Queen Blizzard flavor in Texas

Summer in Texas has everyone dreaming of ice cream but researchers at Grand Canyon University took it one step further. They analyzed twenty years' worth of Google search data to find the most popular Dairy Queen Blizzard flavor in every single state.

Everything is bigger in Texas and the most popular flavor is the Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard, which has bits of pecan pieces, chocolate shavings and caramel swirled in vanilla soft-serve.

The most popular flavor in America, according to the study, is the Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard. Thirteen states preferred this flavor, from Alabama to Michigan.

A close second was the Oreo Cookie Blizzard, which 11 states searched for the most.
