As the 2024 Olympic games kick off, Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper is "beyond thrilled" to take on her own coverage of the sports games .
During this years' Olympics, which are being held in Paris, the famous podcast host has been granted the privilege of becoming one of NBC's media correspondents participating in Peacock's interactive watch-party format . The network's decision to take on Cooper as one of their correspondents was made to garner more excitement for the games among younger, Gen-Z audiences.
At a media event this summer Cooper gushed over the opportunity and the ability to cover the games for her millions of loyal fans. At the event ahead of the Olympic games, the influencer said: "The chance to cheer on the world's greatest athletes at the Olympics is beyond thrilling."

She continued: "I am so excited to be partnering with NBC and Peacock to present this interactive watch-party format for the first time from the Olympics, designed to bring audiences even closer to the excitement of in Paris. We are going to have so much fun.”
Cooper will be leading her own segment of the coverage on the streaming service titled 'Watch with Alex Cooper.' During the show, the 29-year-old podcaster will be attending the games in France and sharing her live reactions. Cooper will be sharing her commentary during the soccer, gymnastics and basketball games and answer questions submitted by fans on social media.

NBC Olympics president and executive producer Molly Solomon shared her excitement over Cooper's participation in the coverage and the new audiences that she will be bringing to the games. In an interview with USA Today Sports , Soloman said: "I can’t wait to find out what it’s like to watch the Olympics with the incomparable Alex Cooper."
The network executive continued: "She has attracted a fanatical audience by being unapologetically fun and original, and she has been a vocal supporter of women’s sports and female empowerment," and added: "Alex is the perfect host for this interactive Olympics viewing experience on Peacock.”
