ASHWAUBENON — A popular Chinese restaurant is reopening with some new dishes.

Mandarin Garden , 2394 S. Oneida St., in Ashwaubenon reopened Friday under new ownership. The restaurant closed on May 30, after the previous owner retired and sold the business. Jian-Jun Kang, the eatery's new owner, said he is excited to bring back the same quality food and service, with a few new dishes.

"We have the previous owner's recipes and rehired the same employees," Kang said. "I'm very happy about that."

Kang said the menu will have all of the original items and recipes with some additonal noodle dishes including ramen. The kitchen equipment was updated after Kang purchased the eatery.

The restaurant will be open six days per week and the hours of operation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
