Shannon Beador’s DUI arrest was a bit of a wake-up call for Tamra Judge . Many factors contributed to their unexpected split. However, the DUI was perhaps the first of many strong pushes for Tamra.

The two used to be the best of friends. As a couple of Real Housewives of Orange County stalwarts, the two seemed like Bravo juggernauts. Thus, it came as a real shock when Tamra suddenly called off the Tres Amigas tour. Tamra felt Shannon needed the time to reflect on what she had done.

Plus, it wouldn’t have been a good look, given how much the live show had alcohol involved. But Shannon was understandably upset at Tamra’s withdrawal. Folks began to wonder if Tamra was being too hard on Shannon. More broadly, fans wondered if Tamra had ever been a good friend to Shannon.

Tamra implies Shannon’s claims are unreliable

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight , Tamra called herself, “the best friend Shannon Beador ever had. That’s the problem,” she explained. “She knows that I know so much, and she’s so afraid , like, I’m just gonna discredit her and make her look bad, which is horrible. It’s absolutely horrible.”

Tamra continued, “You know, she wants to tell lies about me to make me look bad. I had to tell lies about her to make her look good for so many years.” Nevertheless, Tamra acknowledged it would be “hard for the viewers to see” her friendship with Shannon. Fans wouldn’t see all the good Tamra did behind the scenes, according to her.

Tamra insisted, “I was by Shannon’s side. I was crying on the phone with her. I was having hard conversations with her saying, ‘This is a wake-up call.’” Despite their once strong bond, Tamra warned, “You have to be careful with that Shannon Beador.”

As Tamra further explained, “She’s very good with her soundbites, and persuading the audience and the viewers into thinking something’s happening that isn’t.” Tamra also said Shannon was “good at playing the victim.”
