Christina Hall isn't holding back when it comes to sharing how she really feels about her impending divorce from her estranged husband, Josh Hall .
About 10 days after it became known that the HGTV personality had filed for divorce from her third husband , Christina issued a statement that appeared to put her soon-to-be ex on blast.
"Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of 'how I was blind-sided and how I'm working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch..." the 41-year-old began in the first of two posts she shared to her Instagram Story on Thursday, July 25.
"Meanwhile I'm over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be...." she added, continuing in a second post which began: "I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve / what they did NOT work for should be ashamed. An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you - but 'still I rise.'"
"For those that aren't aware... divorces do not happen overnight.. & there is always a breaking point. This one is personal...." she concluded.
While much of her statement was somewhat cryptic, what we do know from new court documents obtained by Page Six is Christina alleges that Josh transferred $35,000 that belonged to her into his personal account .
The filing also reported that the money is “separate property rental income” belonging to her, which is in turn "used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties," she asks that Josh "account for the funds taken and return them to me."
Christina also claims that Josh texted her property manager on July 8 and requested the month's payments be "sent to a different account," supposedly using "we" to make it seem like she was a part of the decision. But in the new filing, she said she “had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024” and “would not have asked him to send himself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced.”
In response, Josh denied any wrongdoing in a statement to Entertainment Tonight earlier this week.
As Parade previously reported, the former couple–who married in 2022 and do not share any children–filed for divorce separate from one another on Monday, July 15. Josh listed their date of separation as July 8, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. The pair can't even seem to agree on the date they decided to divorce, as documents filed by Christina reportedly cite July 7 as their date of separation.
Christina was previously married to Ant Anstead before their divorce in 2021, with whom she shares 4-year-old Hudson London Anstead . Before that, Christina enjoyed nine years of marriage to fellow Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa , whom she welcomed her two eldest kids: 13-year-old daughter Taylor Reese El Moussa and 8-year-old son Brayden James El Moussa .
