Flagler Schools to host 13th annual Back to School Jam Aug. 3 at Flagler Palm-Coast High

Flagler County Schools will host its 13th annual Back to School Jam from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Flagler-Palm Coast High School's E.W. "Andy" Anderson Athletic Center Gymnasium.

The Flagler County Education Foundation will give away backpacks filled with school supplies, while they last.

School administrators, district personnel, Flagler Schools' transportation department and the food services team will be available at the event to answer questions before school starts Monday, Aug. 12 . Attendees can address bus scheduling issues and learn about various resources, like after-school care programs and the free breakfast and lunch programs.

Additionally, dozens of local vendors will attend the event, sharing information about youth-focused activities and organizations.

Food trucks and a bike rodeo will be located outside of the gym, courtesy of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. Children who visit the bike rodeo will receive a certificate for a free fitted helmet, sponsored by the Flagler County Tax Collector's Office.
