Take a peek at the late CNN, Fox anchor Lou Dobbs' stunning house for sale in West Palm

The West Palm Beach home of late news anchor and political commentator Lou Dobbs is under contract for sale.

It was put on the market for sale in April for $3.1 million, and later reduced to $2.9 million, according to the multiple listing service posted on Realtor.com.

Dobbs and his wife Debi bought the home at the height of the previous boom market in 2005 for $2 million, according to Palm Beach County Property Appraiser records.

Agent Kathleen Gannon of Kathleen Gannon Realty, who represented the Dobbs' in the sale, declined to reveal the agreed upon price.

The estate is in the exclusive Eagle's Isle community of Ibis Golf and Country Club. In the past two years, nearby homes have sold for between $1.76 million and $3.4 million.

Dobbs died at 78 years old. His death was announced by his family via social media on July 18.
