Love Island USA’s Rob Rausch Says Better to ‘Keep Our Distance’ With Andrea Carmona

In a season full of drama, Rob Rausch might be one of the most perplexing characters on Love Island USA . I guess it’s no wonder they call the snake charmer an onion with layers. Rob didn’t end up exiting the villa with a strong connection. Well, maybe his bromance with Aaron Evans should count. However, he did leave with a massive reality TV platform that he’s using to maximize his potential.

Love Island USA fans have a lot of questions for Rob after his time in the villa. One of the biggest, aside from whether or not he still has feelings for Leah Kateb , is his status with Andrea Carmona . Andrea and Rob had a hot and heavy romance in just a few short days on Love Island USA. Andrea’s elimination was one of the most dramatic all season, and Rob almost packed his bags and left with her. Now that he’s back in the real world, fans want to know whether or not Rob plans on rekindling his flame with Andrea.

Rob is staying single for now

Rob quickly jumped on the Call Her Daddy podcast to dish about all things Love Island USA Season 6. Obviously, he had a lot of explaining to do about the Andrea of it all. Unfortunately for fans who shipped them together, the two seem to be as far as possible from a honeymoon phase. “I’ve been talking to her a little bit, but it’s not like – I think, I think once again, it’s probably better if we just kind of keep our distance for now,” Rob explained.

Apparently, Rob got out of the villa and saw a ton of TikToks that Andrea posted about her time on the show. “I was kind of like, oh, it’s a lot of things to post about, which sounds really bad,” he added. ” I thought she handled herself so well the whole time, which is why I was kind of surprised [that] she was posting a lot of stuff.”

Rob did say that he and Andrea spoke on a FaceTime call after he was eliminated from the show. It seems like that courtesy call was a one-time thing as Rob doubled down that he has no plans on pursuing any serious relationships following his tenure on Love Island USA.

The Love Island USA reunion premieres on August 19 on Peacock.
