Athena Would Love To See An AEW Versus ROH Women’s Pay-Per-View

One of the top stars in Ring of Honor is the current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena . The former NXT Women’s Champion is set to defend her title against Queen Aminita at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.

Ahead of her big title match, Athena was interviewed by Stephanie Chase . During the interview, the ROH Women’s Champion mentioned that she would love to have a pay-per-view in which AEW and ROH go head-to-head but she wants it to be exclusively for the women’s roster.

“I mean, absolutely. Who wouldn’t? I would love to do an AEW vs. ROH pay-per-view with the girls. I mean, honestly, I know we just want to be considered equals. As amazing as that opportunity is, I would absolutely love it, and I would hope to main event that. We’ll see what happens. The future is so bright for everyone’s division under the AEW and ROH banner. We have a lot of stuff cooking. I don’t want to spoil surprises, but we got a lot of stuff cooking that I think everyone’s gonna look forward to,” Athena said. [H/T Fightful ]
