Fans Call Kelly Clarkson a 'Breath of Fresh Air' in Makeup-Free Video Ahead of Olympics: 'Love the Natural Look'

Kelly Clarkson is keeping it so fresh, so clean, and so real in her latest Instagram video, uploaded to the platform on Friday, July 26, and fans can't get over how refreshing it is to see an A-lister baring her bare face.

The singer and talk show host was getting ready to head out to the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics when she took a moment to shoot the selfie-style video, wearing a Polo Ralph Lauren navy blazer with red and white stripes on the edge of the lapel and the Olympic symbol over a white Olympics tee.

Her hair was pulled back with her sunglasses resting atop her head, and her face was free of any product as she chatted directly to fans about the impending event before departing from her hotel to go get ready, explaining that she and the rest of her co-hosts, Mike Tirico and Peyton Manning , have to be there "way earlier than everybody else."

"I'm very excited; I've had a lot of fun this week with [them]," she said. "...I've had such a good time with NBC [and] all the people here," she continued. "Everybody's been working so hard behind the scenes."

While it's not her first time at the Olympics, having performed at the Winter Olympics previously, it is her first Summer event—and her first time hosting. She brought her family along for the ride, joking that she "just died a lot" while playing Roblox with her kids and was now "looking forward" to the night's events.

"I can't talk about much, but it's going to be really, really rad," she teased. "You're going to love it. It's going to be a celebration of life. Paris is so cool with that, they have such a cool way of living and celebrating everything."

Clarkson then went on to gush about the Parisian restaurant she dined at for dinner the previous night, crediting Michael Douglas for the recommendation and likening the entertainment to what fans have in store with the opening ceremony, but it was Clarkson's radiant natural glow that had fans talking in the comments.

"You are such a breath of fresh air," one declared, calling her "so relatable and so humble." They added, "And you look pretty in this natural photo. Now, I'm definitely tuning in!"

"Love the fresh and natural look!" another complimented, while someone else called her "extremely beautiful ❤️."

"Thank you for showing up barefaced," another fan wrote, expressing frustration with many celebrities use of "all these filters" and "[needing] makeup before they will even make a post."

"Have fun!" someone else wished, adding, "You are absolutely gorgeous bare faced. 🥰."
