    Greg Olsen.

In less than two full months, award-winning broadcaster Greg Olsen will officially be replaced as Fox's lead NFL in-game analyst by retired quarterback and living legend Tom Brady.

Fox is relegating Olsen to its No. 2 team for the upcoming season, but he still has nothing but positive things to say about Brady.

"I’ve gotten to know Tom now over the last couple months," Olsen explained during the latest edition of the "SI Media with Jimmy Traina" podcast , as shared by Barrett Sports Media. "…Just getting to know him, getting to learn about his family and hearing him talk about his kids. It’s cool to see the human side of him and just kick back and hang and just get to kind of know him and whatnot. So, I’ve enjoyed my time with him. He’s been nothing but respectful and nothing but professional through all of this, which has been amazing."

Brady and Fox agreed to a 10-year deal reportedly worth $375M back in 2022 before Olsen emerged as arguably the most popular NFL analyst among those who work for the league's national media partners. Olsen previously revealed he's one of the handful of broadcasters who have offered advice to Brady over the past year or so, and Olsen expanded on those conversations during his chat with Traina.

"You know, both personally, just getting to know each other and kind of shooting the s---, but then also talking the industry and some of the things that when I first came out that I had to learn the hard way and things that I look at very differently now going into year four than I did going into year one," Olsen noted. "I think he’s doing a really nice job picking people’s brains and getting people’s opinions."

Brady will make his regular-season debut calling the Week 1 game between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns alongside top play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt. While speaking with Traina, Olsen referred to Burkhardt as "the best partner you could ask for."

Olsen acknowledged during the interview he still wants "to call the best games" of a season. Fox won't give him an opportunity to do that anytime soon, so it will be interesting to see if a No. 1 analyst job opens up elsewhere in early 2025.
