Show Admits Interventions They Might Need

Members of The Bobby Bones Show shared what they might need an intervention for!

Morgan thinks she needs an intervention because she’s spending money on the game app, Travel Town. She’s spent $100 on in-app purchases. It’s a matching game that soothes her brain when she needs a break. You match things together to get coins and then build a town. She buys in-app purchases so the person in her game has more energy and so she can get other upgrades. Lunchbox even exposed that she plays the game in between breaks at work. A fake intervention was staged and they suggested she set a budget of $50 on in-app purchases a month since it makes her happy, and if she goes over that limit, then they will need to do a real intervention with her.

Amy thinks she needs an intervention for a phrase she’s been saying. Her daughter and niece who lived with her all summer brought it to her attention. When her niece tells her about certain things happening in her life, the first thing that Amy always says is “What does this make possible?” It’s been a great question to ask herself and her niece does not mind the question, it’s just the fact that she says it too quickly. She doesn’t give the person a chance to be with their emotions and feel something and sometimes they just want to share without finding a possibility from it.

Lunchbox shared he needs an intervention on playing the lottery. He plays it a lot and is honest with his wife about how much he spends. He also leaves the tickets all over the house. Bobby Bones needs an intervention for buying sports cards and memorabilia. He’s always getting new things in the mail and if he left them sitting around the house, he’d be embarrassed because he’d feel like his wife would say something. He does have a new series coming out soon about all the things he collects which makes it tricky. Eddie needs an intervention with sports gambling because he’s always looking for something to bet on. He just always feels like he needs to have something on the line for him to enjoy it more.

These were our fake interventions and if they start to get out of hand they will do a real one!
