‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Star Gina Kirschenheiter Thinks Alexis Bellino “Practiced” Her Confrontation With Shannon Beador: “Feels Very Calculated”

A world where Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon Beador are on the same side is a world I want to live in. Despite their tumultuous past, the two women have forged a path forward in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 after Beador apologized (not once, but twice) to Kirschenheiter for weaponizing the latter’s DUI against her in previous seasons. Meanwhile, Kirschenheiter has been outwardly supportive of Beador as she’s had to face off against her ex-boyfriend John Janssen’s new lady, the newly returned Alexis Bellino .

In Thursday night’s (July 25) episode, Beador brought up the fact that Janssen had started taking Bellino to the same gym and same personal trainer that she introduced him to when they were dating, prompting Emily Simpson to compare Bellino to Single White Female as she slowly but surely stepped into every role Beador once had.

“Emily’s so funny, honestly,” Kirschenheiter said of the comment when she stopped by DECIDER’s offices before the episode aired. “Like, I die laughing when I watch it.”

In all seriousness, Kirschenheiter was not a fan of Bellino’s “narrative” when it came to Beador.

“The problem was that, and I will support Emily on this, every time Alexis would come to anything, she would start in with this narrative that Shannon just has to stop talking about them and we’re like, ‘Shannon is not – she is like actively trying to not talk about you. Like, that is her least favorite topic to talk about,'” Kirschenheiter said, noting that Beador was not “trashing” Bellino on or off-camera.

She continued, “[Beador’s] got bigger fish to fry right now. She’s got bigger stuff to deal with. She’s focusing on her health and wellness and she was not stewing on them.”

Based on what she’s seeing play out on the show, the budding real estate agent concluded that Bellino and Janssen were borderline “obsessive” about their dynamic with Beador, telling us that it seems as though Beador “lives rent-free” in their heads.

Kirschenheiter also felt that Bellino rehearsed her confrontation with Beador in the Season 18 premiere, in which she delivered the shady line, “There’s the door Shannon Beador!” The veteran reality star had confronted Bellino about her alleged involvement in the defamation lawsuit her ex-husband filed against Beador and Tamra Judge , though Bellino quickly made the conversation about her new relationship with Janssen.

“She clearly practiced all that in the mirror before and that, to me, even feels like you’re not giving it a real fair chance,” Kirschenheiter said. “Like, you clearly didn’t just think up, ‘There’s the door, Shannon Beador,’ on the fly.”

Kirschenheiter added that Bellino didn’t come into the luncheon with “this positive version” of how she was “pretending” she wanted things to go, but rather prepared for how she was going to “slam” Beador.

“The whole thing just feels very calculated to me, honestly,” Kirschenheiter said. “I don’t wish them anything bad. Like, I hope that John and Alexis are happy together, but it would just be in everybody’s best interest if everybody just moved on.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Thursday at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock .
