If your dog has ever been frightened of something, especially something that doesn't seem to make a lot of sense, you know the challenge of trying to reassure them against the big, scary water bottle or random object that is freaking them out. It doesn't matter how old your dog is, or what size they are, some dogs just get frightened by weird things.

This Great Dane puppy proves that sometimes the biggest dogs can be the biggest babies!

This funny and cute video was shared by the TikTok account for @ Moose.the.dane and everyone is so in love with this gorgeous pup's marking. One person said, "Are those Chanel boots he is wearing?" Another added, "Wow his markings are so beautiful and unique!" Someone else said, " Boy the printer did some weird printing on that one but absolutely adorable!"

A lot of other people feel sorry for this poor baby. One person commented, "This proves that Danes are terrified of everything!" Another person replied, "My almost 200lb 7ft tall Great Dane was scared of the most ridiculous things. His big self would get scared of a plastic bottle and knock things over trying to get away from it, which just scared him." Awwwww. Someone else responded, "Mine sniffed a dandelion floof just once.... terrified ever since. All 153 pounds of him."

Some dogs are just naturally scaredy cats, and some puppies can just be apprehensive about the great big world in general. Here's how you can help your frightened dog.

Dogs can be frightened of all sorts of things. Other dogs, fireworks, thunderstorms, cats, the vacuum cleaner , random objects.

If your dog shows fear around something , speak to your dog in a calm, soothing voice. Avoid yelling or making loud noises, as this can increase their anxiety. Sit near your dog and offer gentle petting if they seek it out. Some dogs find comfort in physical contact, while others may prefer space. If your dog reacts in a frighted way to something, Do not punish or scold them. There is never a reason for punishment in a situation where a dog is fearful. When a dog is frightened, it is not able to learn, so the punishment will make things worse.

You can try desensitization : Slowly expose your dog to the source of their fear in a controlled and gradual manner. Start with low levels of exposure and gradually increase it as your dog becomes more comfortable.

Some fearful pups may benefit from medication, so speak to your veterinarian as needed.
