It's a sad moment when you've eaten your last bite of food and realize you're still famished. One cat named Biggie experienced this incredibly dire situation when his food bowl became mysteriously empty and his tummy was still growling.

The hilarious July 24 TikTok video shared by the account for Axel aka Biggie Smalls ( @axel.biggiesmalls ) shows the hungry kitty giving the performance of a lifetime as he literally begs Mom for a few more morsels of food. Take a look!

"It’s like having a toddler. He already snuck food from my son's room today," the caption reads.

The near-minute-long clip shows Biggie lying with his empty food bowl, trying to look as adorable as possible, but also so hungry—starving, even. Though Mom repeats "no," and "no more food," the big cat hits his bowl a couple of times for dramatic effect in hopes of winning her over.

Biggie's many fans weighed in on the state of his condition.

"Feed that poor baby. He is nothing but fur and bones!!" one person joked. "He’s like I’m withering away motherrrrrr," another added. "Poor baby!! You can do this, we’re all rooting for you!" another said.

Clearly, this is all in jest because Biggie is a big boy. In fact, in another recent video , he recently lost more than 10 pounds to become a healthier version of himself. You're doing, great, buddy!

How Much Food Should An Adult Cat Eat?

"Chonky," or "fat cats" are absolutely adorable to look at, but it's not necessarily the healthiest way to live. Preventative Vet says it's important to know how much food to give at every age, which begins with a vet visit to get a full physical.

Age, size, activity level, indoor vs. outdoor status, health and reproductive status are all things that have to be considered when it comes to an amount of food. Here are their considerations when going by weight alone:

    • Kittens 0 to 4 months with a weight range of 1 to 5 lbs: 77.38 to 353.2 kcal
    • Kittens 4 months to adult with a weight range of 5.5 to 10 lbs: 258.73 to 453.1 kcal
    • Spayed/Neutered adult about 10 lbs: 348.1 kcal
    • Intact adult about 10 lbs: 391.6 kcal

The feeding instructions on the back of a bag or can are just a starting point, so be sure to pay attention to measure and adjust based on the aforementioned factors.

Also, be sure to stick to a feeding routine they can count on. Some cats will eat twice a day while others prefer to graze. Know your cat! If they graze too often and begin putting on too much weight , a schedule with measured food for their caloric needs will keep them on track.

As for Biggie, he's doing a great job losing weight, but we're sure it won't stop him from serving all the drama when mealtime is over!
