Lady Gaga is officially confirmed to be at the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony as the pop icon was spotted rehearsing with pink pompoms and feathers ahead of the games.
As Celine Dion is set to make her grand return to the stage at the 2024 Olympic Games, it has been all but confirmed that iconic pop star Lady Gaga will be joining her for a duet . The Bloody Mary hitmaker looked glamorous as she was snapped perfecting her choreography with her backup dancers onstage ahead of the prestigious sporting event.
The 38-year-old singer looked dazzling as she was seen with her leg up hitting a dance move as she was surrounded by a group of black-clad dancers and puffy light pink feathered pom-poms. Gaga appeared sexy and confident as she took the stage wearing a short black dress paired with sheer black tights and long silky black gloves. For the special occasion, the beloved singer wore her platinum blonde hair in an up-do and rocked a bold bright red lipstick.

Gaga's sighting comes as she and Celine were rumored to be sharing the stage after the musical pair were both spotted in Paris leaving the Royal Monceau hotel, near the Champs-Élysées just days before the games began. And just days before the international sporting event began French journalist Thierry Moreau gave a sneak peek into what might be in store for the millions of fans tuning in.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Thierry revealed one iconic French song he's certain will be in the lineup. In the post originally written in French, he wrote: "Evening news: @celinedion and @ladygaga rehearsed 'La vie en rose' by Edith Piaf as a duet. Celine Dion will be dressed by Dior with a pink and black feather cape…"
Taking to a newly posted Reddit thread, Gaga fans shared their thoughts on the collab as they took their predictions on what the talented duo will sing at the games. One fan wrote: "Some French reporters are thinking it'll be 'Hymne à l'amour' instead. But I'd say La Vie is more likely." And another replied: "Gaga is Amazing at that song. Allegedly it’s what convinced Bradley Cooper that she was the one for her role in A Star Is Born." And a third added: "Gaga has experience sharing a stage with big names, while Celine returning to the stage at an event like this will be truly iconic. This duet makes sense especially because it is a very special moment for Celine."
And while some fans were upset that American singers would be taking the stage rather than native French names, many backed the choice drawing attention to Celine and Gaga's ties to the country. One fan wrote: "Céline is Canadian but has historically been huge in France. I grew up between the two countries and whenever I'd go to Canada, my school friends would beg me to bring back Céline merch lol. As a French person raised in Canada as well, I'm so excited for this!"
And another defended: "Céline is beloved in France and she loves her French public back. She's done some albums in French that were huge there. She's basically an honorary French person at this point." Others pointed out that Gaga is also a perfect choice as she has previously covered French songs in the past and is currently starring in the upcoming French-titled movie 'Joker: Folie A Deux.'
