MrBeast has landed in hot water after a series of inappropriate remarks surfaced, including comments about a minor and jokes concerning slavery . In a live stream, he was questioned if he'd purchase an "n-word" for $400, to which he responded, "The most I would pay is $300. Sorry, $400 is just out of my price range for that type of stuff."
He then repeated the racial slur multiple times and laughed when offered 10 "-------" at a discount.
On the Hot Wet Soup podcast, MrBeast commented on the then teenage viral sensation Bhad Barbie. He's heard asking, "Let's be real, you wouldn't put your ---- in her? " only to be reminded by a host that she was around 14 years old at the time, reports the Mirror US .
The leak came just hours after MrBeast has publicly criticised his former Beast team member, Ava Kris Tyson, labelling her alleged actions as "disgusting."
She was accused of engaging in inappropriate conversations with a minor and making racist comments. However, the individual who was a minor at the time has since come forward to deny any grooming took place.
In response to the allegations, MrBeast posted on X, previously known as Twitter: "Over the last few days, I've become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson's behaviour online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts."
"During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts. That said, I've seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast."
"I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions. I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings."
In a heartfelt post on X, Ava clarified she "never groomed anyone. The person who gets brought up in these accusations @LavaGS has vocally supported that they are false."
She also expressed remorse: "I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent. Seeing recent events we've mutually decided it's best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health."
Ava emphasised her departure from the MrBeast team was out of consideration for the "hundreds of people who work at MrBeast," opting to leave so as not to let the allegations "impact" their jobs. She further stated: "To lump these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen."
