The mother of three had her lush blonde hair in curtain bangs and a blowout that fell to her back and below her shoulders as she shot the camera an endearing smile. Brinkley had some advice for her followers via her caption, urging them to push past limits and go for their dreams at any age.

A few critics did not quite agree with Brinkley’s caption, which stated that “70 is the new 40.” They deemed such a statement delusional and asked her to stop comparing both life stages. “Easy for you to say,” a follower responded, while some buttressed that Brinkley looks youthful because she can afford to.

Never too late

Brinkley’s message to her supporters as she began a new phase of life was to live life unapologetically and explore. “All this talk about age!” she wrote. “A great time to take on new challenges, volunteer, travel, or start a new company.
