Model Laetitia Casta Makes an Appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in White Trainers Alongside Pharrell Williams

French model and actress Laetitia Casta showcased a sporty-chic look alongside Pharrell Williams at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games Torch Relay in a pair of trainers that were likely from Louis Vuitton ahead of the opening day ceremony.

Casta, who has been a popular model since beginning her career at age fifteen, working with the likes of Guess , Victoria’s Secret and more, opted for an all-white ensemble that included a long sleeve t-shirt and matching white joggers. Based on similar Louis Vuitton trainer models, the shoes were most likely made with monogram embossed grain calf leather with expert stitching. LV trainers also come with a durable rubber outsole that allows for adequate grip and traction.

A padded midsole is also usually present to assist with comfortable walking. Casta’s shoes, in particular, featured an off-white colorway with grey accents dispersed throughout and off-white laces.

As for Louis Vuitton’s creative director Pharrell, he appeared in a pair of trainers that was also most likely from his brand. Those shoes featured an embossed grain calf leather upper, alongside an exterior that included a white design rounded out by green, black and blue accents, and white laces as the finisher. His sneakers also came with a grippy rubber outsole, which was needed for all the walking required in participating in Olympic events. Carrying the infamous torch, he opted for a white long sleeve shirt that matched the one worn by Casta, and a pair of white basketball shorts.

While Casta went the casual route for her Olympic appearances, she typically appears in more elevated models such as pumps, stilettos and platforms. Throughout the course of her modeling career, she has participated in campaigns for Valentino, Tommy Hilfiger, Givenchy and Ralph Lauren. She has also been a long-term brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris.

The 2024 Olympics are scheduled to officially begin tonight in Paris, France. The multi-sport event will run from now until August 11.
