Trump’s Physician Demands Congress ‘Correct The Record’ Over FBI Director’s ‘Inappropriate’ Suggestion Trump Wasn’t Hit By Bullet

Former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson slammed FBI Director Christopher Wray for suggesting former President Donald Trump was hit by shrapnel during the attempted assassination on his life.

During Congressional testimony earlier this week, Wray testified that the FBI investigation into the assassination attempt has not yet determined whether or not Trump’s ear was hit by a bullet.

“I think with respect to former President Trump there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that, you know, hit his ear,” Wray told lawmakers in a hearing on Wednesday.

Trump’s allies and lawmakers on Capitol Hill blasted the FBI director for promoting “conspiracy theories” surrounding the Pennsylvania rally that left one attendee dead and two others seriously wounded.

On Friday, Jackson issued a statement claiming he has continued “monitoring” Trump’s health and well-being following the attempt on his life, reaffirming that one bullet did in fact graze the former president’s ear.

“The would-be assassin fired multiple rounds from a relatively close distance using a high-powered rifle, with one bullet striking the former president, and now the Republican nominee for president, in his right ear,” Jackson wrote in a statement.

The former White House doctor argued that Congress should “correct the record” regarding Wray’s “wrong and inappropriate” testimony on the shooting.

“There is absolutely no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet. Congress should correct the record as confirmed by both the hospital and myself. Director Wray is wrong and inappropriate to suggest anything else,” Jackson urged.

Trump shared Jackson’s statement via his social media platform Truth Social.
