    New Mexico State Police, Union County Sheriff’s discover body buried on property

    UNION COUNTY, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) — The New Mexico State Police Crime Scene team and the Union County Sheriff’s office discovered the body of one person buried on a property in Union County on Monday.

    According to officials from the NMSP, the NMSP was assisting the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a search warrant on a property on Monday, and said that “as a result of the search warrant, a body was discovered buried on the property.”

    NMSP officials stated the investigation is still ongoing and those with further information were encouraged to reach out to the Union County Sheriff’s office for more details.
