Good afternoon everyone. As mentioned in this morning's article, we were expetcing heavy showers and storms to redevelop over parts of North Carolina and South Carolina.

High humidity, sunshine, and sub-tropical energy, have made that possible once again, and we're watching numerous heavy storms developing. Most notable, heavy storms are blossoming directly along the coastal sections of the Carolinas, aided by the contrast in air from the ocean.

For this reason, flood watches continue today in areas we saw concerns yesterday, as well as a focus on the coastline; including areas such as Wilmington and the Myrtle Beach area. We may also see isolated severe weather within these clusters of storms. Individual cells could be capable of locally damaging winds, hail, frequent lightning, and torrential rain.

Please stay tuned for the latest watches and warnings. Please do not try and cross moving water in your vehicles or on foot.
