Kamala Harris wants to keep Hamas in power

Vice President Kamala Harris has made it clear that she wants to protect Hamas in ways that essentially would keep the terrorist organization in power in Gaza and that she will continue President Joe Biden’s policies that embolden and empower terrorists.

Harris offered a condemnation of sorts of Hamas after her meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a bit of throat-clearing before she articulated her actual position that Hamas should be allowed to remain in power.

“I just told Prime Minister Netanyahu, it is time to get this deal done,” Harris said of a ceasefire, which would allow Hamas to remain in power after the terrorist organization has promised to carry out more massacres like the Oct. 7, 2023, one that started this war.

She then pivoted to shaming Israel. “What has happened in Gaza over the past nine months is devastating,” Harris said. “The images of dead children and desperate, hungry people fleeing for safety, sometimes displaced for the second, third, or fourth time. We cannot look away in the face of these tragedies. We cannot allow ourselves to become numb to the suffering. And I will not be silent.”

It is clear what the implications of Harris’s position are. She says this can end “in a way where Israel is secure” while demanding that Israel allow the genocidal terrorist organization that massacred 1,200 Israeli and American civilians to remain in power. She places the responsibility for the suffering of Gazans on Israel, not Hamas, which is why she is using their suffering to pressure Netanyahu into reaching a deal. Harris’s decision to shame Israel more than Hamas also helps give Hamas more leverage in hostage negotiations — you know, the hostages, including five remaining Americans, that Hamas took while massacring 1,200 civilians.

Harris is going to empower Hamas by treating Israel like the aggressor while funneling “civilian aid” to Gaza that will inevitably be stolen by Hamas, just as Biden did , but to a greater extent. Harris will throw condemnations at Hamas here and there, but she puts Israel on a similar plane as Hamas in both policy and rhetoric. After all, according to her, the conflict between a genocidal, antisemitic terrorist group and a democratic country that respects human rights is “anything but” binary.

Condemnations and angrily worded letters do not make you opposed to terrorists. Trying to shame allies for killing terrorists and sending aid that those terrorists steal and use for their own murderous purposes helps empower the terrorists. That is what Harris will do as president.
