INDIANAPOLIS — Andrew Horning, who is running for Senate, says Libertarians take government corruption seriously. He adds that his campaign faces challenges, including limited access to the ballot.

“Everybody knows that our government is corrupt, but nobody votes like that,” Horning told WIBC’s Tony Katz. “One of the reasons that Libertarians have been becoming significant and we’ve won elections in Indiana is because we make sense.”

Horning says he has been politically active for decades and believes Libertarians are progressing thanks to candidates like Donald Rainwater, who has raised enough money to meet important goals.

He says Libertarians are not only more fiscally responsible than Republicans, but they also don’t support the military-industrial complex.

“Democrats used to be anti-war, they used to be pro-individual rights, but they’ve dropped all that,” he says. “They’ve been just like Republicans fully into the military-industrial complex.”

Horning claims he’s the only U.S. Senate candidate offering constitutional design as an option. He says the state and federal constitutions show that our government is ungoverned, and police are unpoliced.

“We’re in a hot mess,” he added. “We’re way past broke.”
