A pair of inconvenienced Delta passengers took matters into their own hands after their flights were delayed for days and they received no compensation for "thousands of dollars" they lost in the process.

The beleaguered airline has taken quite the hit over the past week in the wake of widespread CrowdStrike outages, which disproportionately impacted Delta compared to other leading airlines. As of earlier in the week, thousands of Delta flights around the world had been delayed with the CEO of the company estimating that "100 percent functionality" wouldn't be expected until Thursday .

Unfortunately, restored operations didn't come in time for the two aforementioned travelers, who shared their ordeal on TikTok. “POV: Delta doesn’t compensate for thousands of dollars lost from delaying our flights for days so we gonna get it back in the Sky Club," content creator Kyle Philippi captioned the minute-long video, adding a succinct: "This will set them back!"

In the video, which was appropriately set to AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," Philippi and his traveling companion could be seen taking the Delta lounge for all that it was worth—piling up plates upon plates of food from the buffet, including appetizers, ribs, wings, popcorn, cookies, and so on. In one of the more egregious moments, Philippi filmed himself ordering a glass of red wine, which he then proceeded to pour directly into then trashcan.

The pair also made off with a pile of Business Traveler magazines and pocketed handfuls of single-serve bags of Cheez-Its. But their wave of destruction was not relegated to food and magazines, as they also documented themselves wasting amenities such as hand sanitizer, shower water, and pump bottles of shampoo and conditioner.

People quickly rallied around the stranded travelers, sounding off in the comments. "I won’t lie pouring the wine out went hard," wrote one user, while another added: "This is the level of petty we strive for."

"As someone who has been completely wronged by Delta, thank you for your service!" wrote another admirer.

However, it may have been Delta that had the last laugh. In a follow-up video responding to a commenter who wrote "that toilet break is gonna be fire," Philippi asked his companion whether "he showed Delta or they showed him."

"Delta showed me ... I've got Delta's revenge," he quipped. "Oh, you gonna eat me out of house and home, here's what you get for that. You gonna eat everything in our lounge? This is what you get."

When asked how many times he had used the bathroom since they finally arrived at their destination, he admitted: "No kidding, at least 20 times."

As they say, not all heroes wear capes. Some just use an absolutely astounding amount of hotel room toilet paper.
