Local foundation offering free shoes to children in need

(WKBN) — The Fairhaven Foundation has received a grant to distribute shoes for free to some children throughout the Valley.

Families must have a household income at or below 200% of the most current Federal Poverty Level limits. If eligibility is met, all children in the household are able to receive one pair of shoes while supplies last.

While shoes are being distributed through our local County Boards of DD, the program is not limited to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Shoes range from size eight in toddlers to size six in kids.
