Jon Moxley hasn’t wrestled for almost a month, with the AEW star’s last match being his loss to Tetsuya Naito at Forbidden Door. And while some suspected he may be suffering from an injury, it has now been reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he is simply taking some time off, which, considering his schedule over the past few months included several trips to Japan, makes sense.

“Jon Moxley has been given time off by AEW and has not been backstage at AEW TV since the Forbidden Door PPV.”

38-year-old Moxley broke into the business as a teenager by selling snacks and helping set up the ring for Les Thatcher Heartland Wrestling Association.
