Teddi Mellencamp Reacts to Mauricio Umansky Pics Kissing Nikita Kahn, Thinks Its ‘Hard for the Kids’

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp shared her feelings about the recent photos of Mauricio Umansky kissing a mystery woman. Teddi’s former RHOBH castmate Kyle Richards announced her separation from Mauricio in 2023, following 27 years of marriage.

During the July 23 episode of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge , Teddi mentioned the photos of Mauricio kissing a woman in the Mykonos, Greece airport on July 16. The woman was later identified as 33-year-old European-born model/actress Nikita Kahn .

“I do think it’s hard for [their] kids to probably see that photograph,” Teddi told Tamra.

Hard to see Dad kissing someone else

Teddi expressed the opinion that it must have been hard for Mau and Kyle’s four daughters to see their dad kissing someone besides their mom. The former couple share daughters Farrah Aldjufrie, 35; Alexia Umansky, 28; Sophia Umansky, 24; and Portia Umansky, 16. Farrah’s father is Guraish Aldjufrie, who Kyle divorced in 1992, though Mauricio has been a second father to her.

While Tamra agreed with her co-host, she added that the couple’s four daughters should expect their parents to start dating other people. It’s hard for them, but — barring an unlikely reconciliation — both Kyle and Mau will eventually move on.

“They are going to go their separate ways,” Tamra noted. “They are separated. So, it’s going to be hard for the kids no matter who they are with. [Whether] it’s a 33-year-old or a 55-year-old.”

Divorce is hard on the kids, even if they’re adults. Nobody wants to see their dad kissing someone who’s not their mom. Or vice versa. It’s a tough transition, no matter what their age.
