Pregnant Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Shows Off Giant Back Tattoo, Reveals Meaning

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard recently shared a social media post that displayed all of her tattoos and their meanings, including a never-before-seen back tattoo.

The standout, a victim of Munchausen by proxy, showcased her ink in an Instagram carousel, starting with a beautiful bird tattoo that spanned the top-half of her back. The giant, mythical phoenix, painted across her spine, symbolizes rising from the ashes. The next tattoo in the series, featured on Blanchard's forearm, is of Buddhist symbol "unalome," signifying a spiritual path towards enlightenment.

She also drew attention to a wolf tattoo that she got with a friend to symbolize unity with that individual. The video was set to "Tattoo" by Jordin Sparks , next to a disclaimer from Blanchard that she got all of the tattoos before she was pregnant.

Blanchard announced that she and boyfriend Ken Urker , were expecting their first child together earlier this month in a video shared to her YouTube channel, mentioning that it was "not planned" but "we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood." The pair rekindled their romance in 2023 following Blanchard's seven year prison sentence for the slaying of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard , in 2015 after undergoing years of abuse.

Despite not having a healthy relationship with her own mother, Blanchard is very excited to be a mother herself.

"I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn't."
