After two cloudy days, the sun finally came out for the third training camp practice at Gillette Stadium on Friday.

The two rookie quarterbacks have not had many opportunities to show off their impressive arms, but fans finally got a sneak peak at what they are capable of.

Specifically, it was Joe Milton who launched the ball deep into the end zone, finding another rookie.

So let's get into all the takeaways from Day 3, starting with Milton.

    1. Joe Milton's 60+ yard TD

It was back-to-back big plays for the two rookie quarterbacks. And while Drake Maye had an impressive throw to Ja'Lynn Polk, it was Milton who grabbed the attention.

The sixth round pick hauled a 60+ yard touchdown pass, which was brought down by fellow rookie Javon Baker.

It truly showcased his arm strength, which Milton is very well known for.

    2. Connection between Drake Maye and Ja'Lynn Polk shows

The first and second round draft picks are proving that they are comfortable playing with one another already.

Maye had one of the plays of the day, hitting Polk on a deep ball, with the rookie receiver catching it despite tight coverage from cornerback Azizi Hearn and safety Jaylinn Hawkins.

Polk was so hyped after making this play that he let out a yell in celebration.

    3. Another switch on the offensive line

Throughout the first two days of training camp, three players on the offensive line have remained consistent: David Andrews at center, Sidy Sow at left guard, and Mike Onwenu at right guard.

However, there have been numerous different tackles slotting in.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Chukwuma Okorafor was on the left side. But on Friday, he moved over to the right side. And it was rookie Caedan Wallace who got his first "start" with the main offensive line, playing on the left.

Later on, it was Vederian Lowe who subbed in on the right side, and Calvin Anderson played at left tackle.

On the first day, it was Anderson who "started' on the right, and then on the second day it was Lowe. So it seems the Patriots are trying out numerous different combinations to see what works.

    4. Drake Maye throws his first interception

Listen, every single quarterback in the NFL is going to throw some interceptions. And especially a rookie. But we do have to talk about it.

Maye threw his first interception of training camp, with linebacker Matthew Judon snagging the ball out of the air on a pass intended for running back Rhamondre Stevenson.

“It was a rookie mistake, no pun intended,” Maye told reporters after practice.

    6. Davon Godchaux wants a new deal

Both Matthew Judon and Davon Godchaux have made it clear they want new deals from the Patriots. Judon spoke candidly about this on Wednesday with reporters, and Friday was Godchaux's turn.

"I mean it's frustrating, but I'm going to give it to my agent. I'm going to let Drew (Rosenhaus) handle it. He's been doing it for a long time. He's got my best interests. So I'm just going to roll with it and control what I can control," Godchaux said. "It's frustrating playing out here with no guaranteed money, but I’m going to put it in Drew’s hands."
