Firefighter injured as crews battle two-alarm fire at a church in Dallas

DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A firefighter is hurt as fire crews battle a two-alarm fire at a church in Dallas.

Firefighters have been battling the two-alarm fire that broke out at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church on Haymarket Road in Southeast Dallas around 12:30 Friday.

When they got on the scene, there was a lot of smoke and fire coming from the roof. It quickly went to two alarms.

The firefighter who was injured has been taken to Baylor and will be OK.
Crews are still working to get this fire under control.
