E-bikes are becoming more popular every year, offering riders an alternative to manual pedaling that makes getting to work, touring the outdoors, and having a leisurely weekend easier and more fun. But many popular models are still expensive, often fetching prices over $1,000. Thankfully, Walmart continues to roll back prices on its e-bikes , and recently, one of the retailer's top sellers received a discount greater than the price of the average bike.

The TotGuard Foldable Fat Tire E-Bike is now on sale at Walmart for $660—a 67% discount on its normal $2,000 price. This horse-of-a-bike has been turning heads, and it's currently one of the top-selling models at Walmart after having earned over 200 five-star ratings from shoppers who say it's a "monster bike and moves well." It's only available in black, but there are three accent colors to choose from—blue, orange, or red—and, unlike many other e-bikes, this one will ship for free.

This e-bike features thick 26-by-4-inch off-road tires, dual shock absorbers (in the seat and fork), and a 500-watt brushless motor that combine to deliver a fast, comfortable ride up to 21.6mph whether you're taking it to the street or on a light trail. It comes with a 48-volt, 10Ah removable water-resistant battery that'll get up to 40 miles on a single charge, and it can juice back up from 0 to 100 in about five hours. This e-bike can be used in three modes—normal bike, pedal assist, and throttle—and has a handy LCD screen that highlights remaining battery life, mileage, speed, and use time, among other statistics.

Shoppers who have picked this TotGuard e-bike as their ride of choice were won over by the price, but once they get on, they're even more wowed by its performance. "I'm truly impressed," a shopper exclaimed. "This bike offers the best value out there—it's amazing ! The bike is sturdy, with fat tires and a cool, solid frame. As an e-bike, it's fast, reaching 22 mph for me. It glides like a dream, and I highly recommend it…This one is a steal for $600 to $700."

One shopper even found this e-bike a worthy companion for hunting. "A beast for the price," they said. "It effortlessly tows a trailer with my tree stand gear, deer, or even my hunting companion. Both of us have found it capable of navigating over logs, through ditches, and even across water without any issues…The bike is foldable for easy transport and was straightforward to assemble."

Rugged e-bikes just like TotGuard's Foldable Fat Tire model are catching on rapidly among commuters, outdoor enthusiasts, and joy riders, but many of them can cost upward of $1,500 or more, which is why this is such a score. If this is the right one for you, make sure to grab your favorite color soon before the price rolls back up.
